Ja hoor! Editie nummer 3 van Reggae Yard staat al op de agenda. Roothyouth is er dit keer helaas niet bij maar Irey Selecta en DJ Berkum komen op 24 maart weer met de vetste reggae en dancehall tunes uit het heden en verleden, en uiteraard is er weer een special guest...
SPECIAL GUEST: CASTAPARIA SOUND (VERONA, ITALY)
Casta Paria Sound is a reggae and dancehall soundsystem born in Verona (Italy) in the beginning of 2008. The crew is formed by Iato (mc), Marco aka Mobil (selecta) and Bymat (mc).
The original name take inspiration from the indian culture, and stand for music from the people to the people. In fact the first aim of the sound was to spread good reggae music and soundsystem culture locally.
Few months after the formation of the sound, Casta Paria starts to organize the first dancehalls and festival in Verona. During the four years of activity the sound opened the show to famous italian artists, big sounds and played in Italy's famous yard like Reggaemilia, Veneto Blaze and One Beat.
The sound is well known all over the north-east of Italy for his positive attitude on the stage and a distinguished musical taste. In april 2011 Castaparia sound released the first of a periodic mixtape called “Easy forward”, a collection of recent big tunes, that obtained a nice feedback either from the people and soundbwoys.
Recently the selecta moved to Groningen (The Netherlands) for work reason, but the sound is always ready and willing to play..no matter if north or south of Europe!
