Hét Zuid Amerikaanse Metalicoon Max Cavalera komt met zijn band Soulfly naar Hedon! De Braziliaan was de oprichter en het jarenlange boegbeeld van het immens populaire Sepultura, welke met platen als Arise, Chaos AD en Roots de hele metalscene wakker schudde. Laatstgenoemde plaat blijkt ook later van grote invloed te zijn voor Cavalera’s nieuwe band Soulfly, welke hij alweer in 1997 oprichtte. Vanaf het zelfgetitelde debuut excelleert Soulfly zich met haar twee peilers: snoeiharde Tribalmetal en haar maatschappijkritische en spirituele teksten. Vorig jaar verscheen alweer het tiende album van de band, Archangel, met de fantatische track Sodomites.
